Believe it or not, we see the Grog as a family event and, while children cannot participate as combatants, there has never been any shortage of kids cheering on their parents. For the 2009 event, co-sponsor Lite Rock 105 will be providing entertainment for kids including face painting and performers.

Lawn Bowling

On the morning of the 11th you can join in the 2nd annual lawn bowling tournament sponsored by the Nocabulabet Bocce league and held just across the street from the Wild Colonial in Gardner Jackson park. The 2009 tournament will be single elimination, beginning at 11 a.m. and will be limited to 32 teams, but there is no limit to the number of players on a roster.
